Isabella Lake House

Reserve Compare

The Isabella Lake House was originally built for one of the pioneers of the Old Kernville town, Whiskey Flats. Moved from it's original location (the lake bottom) when the construction of the damn was completed in 1955.
It now has a proud location over looking the entire north end of the Kern River Valley. It has two bedrooms and one master bathroom. There are a total of three queen beds and one single roll away bed. The third queen is located in a drop down sunroom off of the living area. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking gear, a full size refrigerator, four burner stove and large oven. There is a coffee maker, toaster and microwave. The views from the Isabella Lake House are spectacular and offer a panorama of the Kern River Valley and it's surrounding mountains The Paiutes, the Greenhorn Mountains and of course the Sequoia National Forest. Within 1/4 of a mile from the fabulous Kern River our guests can enjoy the great out doors and many of the activities offered here in Kernville. Within walking distance from the Lake House the "Kern River Brewing Company" is a very popular attraction as it boasts some of the finest local micro brews ever. Their Citrus Ale, a gold medal winner has been known to bring visitors from all over the country.
